Salvation Army Red Shield Day

The Red Shield Appeal is held annually in May and is used to raise money for those in need.

In 2010, the Salvation Army put out a call for local businesses to dress in red to promote the day and help raise much needed money. The team at LVH were more than happy to help and came to work in red feather boa's, pyjama's, shirts, wigs & Brian even painted his nails red for the occasion! We even had red cupcake's for morning tea and all our patients for the day went home with a red ribbon collar & bandages.
